Well, I do clearly suck at blogging since it's been a year since I posted anything. It seems that I'm boring and rarely have anything witty to say...unless it's sarcasm, I'm fairly good with sarcasm, lol. My friend's blogs are so very cool. Feel free to check them out, they are far more interesting than I am!
We just got back from a week at Cocoa Beach with the kids. We had a lot of fun, but I am WORN OUT! I need a vacation from my vacation. The pics are here. The concept of staying at a condo with the kids is a good one. There was a small kitchen (which is important with super picky eaters), and it's just more home like, which is also the downfall. I think I did more laundry there than I have in months here. Towels every night, clothes, swimsuits... Plus we had to clean it when we left, which SUCKED, but it means we get our security deposit back. I hope they have good memories of the vacation. The whining seems stuck in my head, but I know they loved the beach. I did want to cause extreme bodily harm to the "pressure washer dude" next door. Every.stinking.morning he started in with the pressure washer at 0830 on the dot. Seriously. I wanted to kill him. Apparently, he's an ongoing problem.
Back to the real world. Bean starts Girl Scout Day Camp tomorrow. I'm pretty excited about that, probably more than she is! Camp Widji has many fun memories for me. I hope she feels the same.
ETA: I have to edit to let you know that Bean LOVES GS camp. YAY! Although she wants to go the rest of the summer now, lol. She is having a blast, learning so much, and I am so stinking proud of her I could just explode.
